Sensory Services Team (City & County of Swansea) – a local team of specialist staff who can assist in respect of sight, hearing or dual sensory loss. For other areas outside Swansea, please contact your local authority or charity that supports people with such loss.

Access to Work – a government incentive for those meeting eligibility criteria that assists people with disabilities have equitable access to work opportunities. This can include adjustments, provision of equipment and travel to/from the workplace. See your Disability Employment Advisor (DEA) at your local job centre for details or view online information.
Getting Connected written by the RNIB is designed to be good practice guidance for community projects and services, to encourage more blind and partially sighted people to access the information, services and social networks they want. It also aims to encourage more mainstream digital inclusion services to support blind and partially sighted people.
